Meet your Hosts

Playful spirits, Kelly and Monica consider themselves to be yogi's with a modern twist. When they first met Kelly and Monica were knee deep in warrior poses while attending Dallas Yoga Centers Path of Awakening 300hr teacher training. When they weren't immersed in yoga school they bonded over their love of dancing, Mexico, cooking and a good time.

Kelly and Monica both walk a healing path. Both have journeyed through heartbreak, loss and learning how to love themselves. While their healing work is always in progress their passion for people and wellness practices has paired them up for the perfect Kaya Wellness weekend at Kamp Kaya.

Get ready to enjoy an intimate, serene experience of lakeside living with gourmet meals, movement and curated wellness practices. Just like Monica and Kelly, it's time to invest into YOU with a playful open mind and heart.

After 16 years in the service industry, primarily restaurants and catering, Monica finally pursued her dream of becoming a culinary artist. She started culinary school in 2011 and by the end of 2012 was a full time head chef. During this time she had also begun cultivating her yoga practice and it would carry her through the next several years.
