Compassion has always been an elusive sensation for me. After all I am the best at being critical, judgmental and hard on myself. In addition to life's everyday drama, being a type 1 diabetic and living with chronic autoimmune conditions I have plenty of opportunity to be self critical.
As I walk this life I realize I need a little compassion every now and again (ok, I need it a lot). I mean who ever felt good about being yelled at so why am I doing that to myself? (There is an answer to that question that I will save for another post).
What I'm discovering about compassion is that it's warm, forgiving and makes space for the human experience. So I hope to invite you into this 17min meditation to just experience how compassion arrives for you through exploring your breath.
